I'm a fan of these kinds of bets, or dares. Although, I still suggest a "Battle of the Bowling Green" trophy

Shane, I appreciate your confidence in the Topper offense but Western is not going to win by 11 points. If the Tops win by double digits they will win Conference USA because the Falcons are better than Non-Qualifier U. Expect the Tops to put up some points but not as many as the Falcons. If you are correct in your prognostication, I will be the first to congratulate you but I just don't see Western winning this one. I'm afraid the Topper defense will not be able to keep up with the Falcon's up-tempo, no huddle offense. But hopefully the Tops will score enough points to keep the game close, at least for a while.

Shane, I want to congratulate you on your prediction of the game. Doughty threw with pinpoint accuracy tonight and the Topper defense played much better than I thought they would. It's nice to see the Toppers finally play to their potential. Certainly, the Falcons did not look good tonight and my claim that Bowling Green is better than Non-Qualifier U was an overstatement. But given the Topper's dominance over the Falcons, I believe it's fair to say Western has the best chance of defeating the Herd than anyone else on Marshall's schedule. Promoting Jeff Brohm to the head coaching position was obviously a wise decision because the players showed a great deal of confidence in executing the team's offense. It will be interesting to see how well the Toppers play against Illinois.
