The Western Kentucky Hilltoppers have landed their fifth commitment of the 2016 class in Sonoraville (Ga.) offensive lineman Kenny Cooper on Thursday evening. The 6-foot-3, 285-pound prospect chose the Hilltoppers over offers from Old Dominion and Middle Tennessee.

Cooper is an all-around athlete that also plays basketball, is a discuss thrower on the track and field team, and he's also on the wrestling team at Sonoraville High School. He is the first out-of-state commitment for the Hilltoppers.

I like this pickup for WKU. Georgia linemen are notorious for being big, tough country boys. Cooper should definitely add a little more heft to the line.
