Western Kentucky received another verbal commitment from the Volunteer State on Monday night, landing two-star corner Alexander Ford from Father Ryan High School, located in Nashville, TN.
"I'm about winning and having a winning mindset," Ford said. "Also, the defensive schemes that they run are conducive to my key attributes."
The 6-foot-0, 172 pound high school senior assisted the Father Ryan Fightin' Irish in achieving a 5th place district finish with a 7-5 overall record in the Fall 2020-21 season. The Fightin' Irish finished 11th in the state.
"Also, the coaches were absolutely amazing and I feel like they will put me in great positions to succeed," Ford said. "The facilities were also very great and the campus was just amazing!"
Ford will be joining Western Kentucky next season as a walk-on.
