Another WKU player has entered the transfer portal. Smith appeared in all 34 games last year, averaging 3.3 points and 2.6 rebounds per game as a freshman.
Marek Nelson also announced his intentions to transfer on Tuesday.
Smith is the sixth men's basketball player to leave the program in the offseason, joining Delano Banton, Moustapha Diagne, Matt Horton, Jake Ohmer, and Nelson.
