At the stroke of midnight tonight, Conference-USA will escort East Carolina, Tulsa, and Tulane out the back door and will give Old Dominion and the Hilltoppers of Western Kentucky the red carpet treatment as they officially become conference members.
Gone will be rivalries with our former Sun Belt brethren Louisiana-Lafayette, Arkansas-Little Rock, and Troy. However, new rivalries will be established and an old, bitter, hatred-filled battle from the Sun Belt days will reconvene in Conference-USA with Middle Tennessee.
So, here's a toast to you Sun Belt Conference! 32 years of memories, more than 120 championships, you'll always have the key to our hearts!
...however, Conference-USA is just a bit sexier!
