Langston Hughes (Ga.) 2024 defensive tackle Ameir Glenn, a rising senior talent out of the Peach State, picked up his 20th offer from Western Kentucky this week, announcing the opportunity from the Hilltoppers over social media on Wednesday, March 1.



The 6-foot-2, 300-pound three-star recruiting target out of Fairburn, GA. spoke with InsideHilltopperSports.com about how it felt to collect another D1 offer from Western Kentucky, detailing his overall interest in the Hilltoppers.

"It feels awesome to receive an offer from WKU, especially since it's my 20th offer," Glenn said. "That was my dream as a kid, and Western Kentucky helped me achieve that last night. I feel like the Hilltoppers have been on me recruiting wise since I officially became a junior."

Glenn said that he talked to one of the newest additions to the Hilltoppers' coaching staff, conversing with WKU defensive line coach Carson Hall. Glenn said he began establishing a relationship with Coach Hall when he was still coaching at Georgia. Glenn said that Coach Hall was impressed by his performance at a camp and his interest has carried over into his new position on The Hill.

"Coach Hall," Glenn said. "We had a great relationship back when he was at Georgia. I went to one of their camps and he liked me a lot. When he got the job at Western Kentucky, he saw that I didn't have the offer yet."

Glenn said that he's incredibly interested in learning more about what the Hilltoppers' football program can do for him, and is planning to stop by Western Kentucky for a visit this upcoming spring as soon as he receives the visit dates.

"As a player, I'm very interested in learning from any school," Glenn said. "I feel like Western Kentucky can teach me a lot, so I'm willing to learn anything. And once I get the dates for spring, I'll choose a day to come on a visit."
