Tyson Helton:

- Thought team had a great fall camp, thinks team is where they need to be
- Says players are really excited to get out there and perform
- Says they expect to win, but says they are playing a really good opponent in Central Arkansas. Mentions there game last year with Tulsa where they almost beat them.
- Central Arkansas will be a great test for their team
- Wants to keep guys focused play after play, wants them to play hard, make full speed decisions, and let the coaches worry about the scoreboard
- Says they started game planning for their first three games during the spring. Past two weeks the prep has been focused on Central Arkansas
- Thursday nights are great for college students and thinks community will be excited. Having a Thursday game as the first game doesn't throw a big kink in normal preparation
- Hasn't thought about this being his first game as a head coach. Stays so busy with the process that he doesn't think about it very much. Commended the supporting staff for their hard work.
- Says CA's secondary likes to press wide receivers and forces the quarterback to try to beat them
- Looking for his team to be professional in the entire process of the game, understanding the situations. Substitutions, everyone knowing their role, wants his team to be excited to play and plays the game the right way. Wants team to be passionate on the sidelines. Wants to walk off the football field and say this team did everything they could to win a football game.
- Reiterates they will be running back by committee to start off
- Hopes to hear something soon regarding Jaden Hunter's eligibility
- Excited about punter John Haggerty. Says he has a strong leg is anxious to see how he does when the likes come on. Corey Munson will be the field goal kicker Thursday. Expects him to have his ups and downs, but plans to stick with him. Alex Rinella is not available for the first two games.

Clayton White:

- It feels good to have college football starting back up and to have his team focus on another opponent
- Helps a little to have a more experienced group - wants to make sure they are not too anxious, has older players that can keep their emotions in check
- Have a good feeling at linebacker in terms of who will go out there and play. Says Kyle Bailey has stood out and has been most consistent during spring and fall.
- Says CA has a really good, experience offense. Scored over 30 points a game last year with a returning quarterback, running back, and experienced offensive line.
