GAME AND SERIES NOTES
-WKU’s team captains for the game were Joel Iyiegbuniwe, Ryan Nuss, Derik Overstreet and Mike White.
-There was an attendance of 16,199 in Riccardo Silva Stadium for the 7:04 p.m. ET kick off.
-WKU fell to 6-5 all-time against FIU, including 3-4 in Miami. The Panthers broke a 4-game series win streak for the Hilltoppers.

-With a 6-6 overall record, WKU is bowl-eligible for the 7th consecutive season. It is the longest such streak in Conference USA.
-WKU had won 6 consecutive Friday night games dating back to 2002, including 2 this season and 5 in the past 3 years.
-WKU lost its regular-season finale for the 1st time since 2010; a 28-14 loss at Troy on Nov. 27.

MIKE WHITE

-Completed 30 of 49 passes for 355 yards with 2 touchdowns and 0 interceptions.
-Has thrown for 300+ yards in 7 consecutive games and 16 times in 26 games overall as a Hilltopper.
-Has not thrown an interception in 7 games this season and 14 times in 26 games overall as a Hilltopper.
-With 8,189 yards passing in a WKU uniform, moved into 3rd place all-time. He passed Justin Haddix, who had 7,929 from 2003-06.

CAM ECHOLS-LUPER

-Had a team-high 8 receptions for a season-high 101 yards receiving. Also made a season-long, 38-yard catch in the 2nd quarter.

BRANDON RAY

-Made his 53rd career/consecutive start on the offensive line, tying a WKU program record with long snapper Nolan Dowling (2013-16).

DEVON KEY

-Tied for the team lead with 8 tackles (7 solo), including the team’s lone tackle for loss.
