Per Chad Bishop of WBKO, Purdue redshirt-junior quarterback Austin Appleby was in attendance during Western Kentucky's practice on Friday alongside offensive coordinator Tyson Helton. Appleby played in 17 games the past three seasons at Purdue where he threw for 2,777 yards with 19 touchdowns and 19 interceptions.
