Here are some reactions coming out of WKU's massive Jr. Day on Saturday:
Steven Franklin, DE, Glasgow
What stood out the most: "The coaches, the coaches love me. I've been on their radar since the end of last season and with my cousin Marquez Trigg being a running back for them, they treat me as if I'm already family and tell me that I would love it on the Hill."
Keyron Catlett, ATH, Christian County:
What stood out the most: "The coaches were so real with us about everything and just how things were ran. Everything went great."
Greg Bethel, ATH, Butler
What stood out the most: "The coaches and how they were letting us know that this is a family environment and that you can go to other schools, but it will not be like WKU and I honestly believe them."
DJ Taylor, RB/OLB, Huntland (Tenn.)
What stood out the most: "I liked their coaching staff a lot. They are all about the individual and how one is doing. That's their number one priority. And it's a beautiful campus and a friendly one."
Jamale Carothers, RB, Bowling Green
What stood out the most: "Today was my first time meeting Coach (Chris) Barclay. He seems like a great person and coach. Someone I would like to play for."
Bryce Love, DB, DuPont Manual
What stood out the most: "Of course the obvious uprise of the program was very evident and each coach seemed to have the belief that things were only going to continue to get better."
Kenneth Major, CB/WR, Christian County
What stood out the most: "The visit went great. The coaches were very honest. I really liked the facilities and what they had to offer."
Miles Battle, S, Hazel Green (Ala.)
What stood out the most: "I had a great visit. Looking forward to going back for camp. All the coaches had a positive attitude. They have high expectations and aren't willing to sacrifice integrity."
Kent Phelps, RB, Paintsville
What stood out the most: "It went really well. Got to look around the facilities and everything. It was extremely nice."
Alex Simpson, OG, Lafayette
"It went well. I liked the facilities and coaches a lot."
