After watching the video on Steve Spurrier Jr., I'm amazed how much he looks like his father, talks like his father and has a lot of the same mannerisms and patterns of speech.
Back in January 2007 after Nick Saban was hired at Alabama, I made the comment on another forum that "Saban and Spurrier are without a doubt the best two college coaches today. Alabama will soon be back on top of the SEC and I will certainly enjoy The Tide beating the Vols on a regular basis."
Not everyone had the insight to recognize the genius of Saban including the moron who replied, "O yeah right they are just going to beat Florida, Georgia and Auburn to a pulp. Please pass whatever you're smoking to me, I could use a good buzz. lmfao"
Also, back in 2007, not everyone would have agreed that Spurrier was one of the two best college coaches but I certainly was right about Saban considering everything he has accomplished today. Whether or not you agree with my assessment of Spurrier, most fans would agree he certainly was one of the best.
And whether or not Steve Spurrier Jr. can coach like his father remains to be seen but he sure looks and talks like him.
Sanford is fortunate to have him on his staff.
