FB Recruiting Transfer portal names to keep an eye on

Some names in the transfer portal that Western Kentucky is showing interest in.

- Totaled 19 tackles and 9.5 tackles for loss in five games this past season. A native of Toronto, Diallo started his college career in the JUCO ranks before committing to Texas A&M, then transferring to Central Michigan before the 2019 season.

- Played in all nine games this past season, mainly on special teams while recording five tackles.


- A two-year, All-American starter along the offensive line for Maine the past two seasons while playing both guard and tackle. Dobson is a hot commodity in the transfer market that has a lot of interest from power five programs. This will be a tough get for the Hilltoppers.


- Totaled 79 catches for 969 yards and one touchdowns in his Tennessee career. That includes 19 catches for 231 yards this past season. Johnson will be a graduate transfer


- Despite grabbing Bailey Zappe from Houston Baptist on Sunday, WKU may still be in the market to add another QB transfer. Evans is a redshirt freshman, so he'll have four years of eligibility remaining and could compete for the starting job in the future.


- The redshirt freshman was buried on a Boise State WR depth chart that features a lot of talented and a lot of bodies. Waleed had offers from the likes of Vandy, Virginia, Indiana, UCLA, Oregon, Cal, Arizona, Arizona State, and others coming out of high school.
 

Showell was GT's ninth leading tackler this season, registering 24 in eight games while playing in a career-high 183 snaps. WKU offered on December 12th.
 

Nash opted out of the 2020 season due to COVID concerns before entering his name in the transfer portal in December. The Memphis native was ranked the 42nd best players in the 2019 class.
 

Hooks totaled 34 catches for 635 yards and six touchdowns in his last two seasons with the Bobcats.
