Western Kentucky football coach Tyson Helton has named Maryland transfer Tyrrell “Piggy T” Pigrome the starting quarterback for the Hilltoppers’ Sept. 12 season opener at Louisville.
I had a really good feeling that Pigrome would be WKU’s starter. Coach Helton said it best a couple weeks ago on a Zoom call — You don’t bring in a grad transfer quarterback and not play him. I’m anxious to see what Piggy can do leading the Toppers’ offense.
