Wesleyan is coming and we are not Campbellsville.

I'm not surprised at all. I knew it would take us a while to get our shite together. I do think we can be pretty good by mid season.
I am encouraged by Wesleyan. We have a big games early and beating The University of Southern Indiana at the Ford Center in Evansville on the 16th would be sweet. Good Luck this year but I would guess Harper is licking his cops after seeing the 2 ot score.

Seems like he's letting them play in game situations to see what he has and how to adapt. No real stress to win the exhibition games. Letting the team develop. But, when Harper comes, I'm expecting to win by 25+.
It is just taking a little time for guys to gel. KWC and Campbellsville were both top 5 programs in their respective divisions last year. They have a winning culture there. Both have D1 transfers on their roster as well. Harper at Jacksonville St is having to reinvent a winning culture down there.
WKU is just trying to find an identity with so many new faces on the roster at the moment. But a win is a win at least.

You can never make me believe that Wesleyan is 25 points better than Jacksonville State.
I never said they were 25 points better then Jacksonville St. But I do think KWC could beat Jacksonville St if they played like they did the other night.
That is good for my team. Our fate in front loaded. I would bet Stansberry will take note and Wesleyan has seen the last of Diddle for awhile again.
Tulsa was picked to finish 9th out of 11 teams in the American Conference this year for what it is worth. They were expected to have a down year.
Tulsa has a good basketball history but like most teams that aren't in the major conferences seem to struggle. In the 70's and 80's they were a NCAA Tourney staple and a very tough out.

My bad. It was unknown Carmichael was going to be suspended. That would have probably made an 18-19 point difference. Maybe even an additional 20 points.
