Individual Notes

- Sophomore Justin Johnson bested his career-high with 22 points and recorded his second double-double of the season and career with 13 rebounds.

- Johnson scored 13 first-half points in the span of a little over five minutes, including six-straight baskets.

- Redshirt-senior Nigel Snipes scored 20 points in the game with six rebounds and three assists.

- Snipes was 5-for-5 from the three-point line and 7-of-8 from the floor overall.

- Snipes passed his point total from the 2014-15 season (45) today and has 53 points on the season.

- Freshman Chris McNeal had five points and six assists in the game.

Waters was essentially absent after scoring the two early buckets. I wonder if Johnson doesn't explode like he did, if Waters would have been more of a presence. But his success, however little (like the beginning of today's game) will be key to the Tops success in games like this
