You may have heard WKU has a big time CUSA match-up with La Tech on Thursday night in Ruston, LA. Tops are looking to improve to 8-0 in conference play and further establish themselves a top the CUSA standings. A win by La Tech would put them at 7-1 on the season and would give them the tie-break over WKU for first place.

So let us hear your predictions for this game.

WKU enters the game as a 7 point underdog according to Vegas. I am going to say Tops edge out the Bulldogs in a close one. First team to reach 70 points wins as both teams are averaging a league leading 74.2 ppg.

Final:

WKU 75
La Tech 71

I'll say it's a closely contested battle between the current C-USA elites and I'll agree with Shane, first team to 70 will win it.

With that, I think Louisiana Tech will play a bit pissed off after their stumble to North Texas last week and will ride the hot hands of their dynamic duo of Raheem Appleby and Alex Hamilton and win a close one...79-76.

It's going to be a tough one for the Tops. La Tech has some good players and have won a ton of games at home like last 41 out of 42 or something like that. I've learned to never doubt a Ray Harper coached team though. I think it'll be close one. I could see either team getting a bigger lead at some point, but think it'll be close at the end.

This could be one of those games where WKU trails for most of if not all of the game until the waning minutes and edge out a close victory. As Shelby said, I have learned to never count out a Ray Harper coached team.
