Western Kentucky hosted a multitude of talented basketball players at this weekend's Elite Camp and by the end of camp, three talented underclassmen in Clayton Hughes, Jordan Bone, and David Sloan were extended scholarship offers by the coaching staff.

Hughes, a 2016 prospect, hails from the University School of Jackson (Tn) and is very bouncy at 6-foot-5,190-pounder that has unlimited range as a shooter and while his size translates to shooting guard in college, he's developing his low-post game in high school and will be a very polished all-around player once he gets to college. Schools like Vanderbilt, Tennessee, and Virginia are also expressing interest in his talents.

Ensworth (Tn) point guard Jordan Bone is another 2016 prospect that brings a more than just one dimension to his position. At 6-foot-1, 170-pounds, he's an excellent dribbler who can not only distribute but can also take over a game and score at-will if needed. He helped lead the Tigers to their fourth consecutive Division II state championship this past season. Miami (Oh), Murray State, Tennessee State, and Notre Dame appear to be other schools that have expressed interest in his talents.

Sloan is a young'n, the 2017 prospect formerly of Moore (Ky) High School is now at Taylor County (Ky) where him and his teammate Quentin Goodin make quite a talented pair of guards. From the highlight video below, Sloan is a solid passer and a great decision-maker in transition that seems to be a pass-first point guard but can finish at the rim himself. He is going to develop into a nice player.
