Former Hilltopper point guard Jamal Crook has officially joined the men's basketball staff as a graduate assistant it was announced on Monday. After graduating from WKU, Crook played professionally in the National Basketball of Canada for the Ottawa Skyhawks where he averaged 11.8 points and 3.4 assists per game in 16 games before his season was ended due to a fractured right foot.
The Hilltoppers also officially announced the addition of Franklin Road Academy (Tn) forward Rob Marberry to the roster. Marberry chose to walk-on at WKU over scholarship offers from Middle Tennessee, Belmont, Florida Gulf Coast, and Toledo. He averaged 16 points, eight rebounds, and three blocked shots as a senior.
