Western Kentucky athletics director Todd Stewart and head football coach Jeff Brohm spoke with the media on Sunday in the Team Meeting Room at Houchens-Smith Stadium in regards to the Hilltoppers' upcoming postseason game vs. South Florida in the Miami Beach Bowl on December 21.

Here's what Stewart and Brohm had to say:

Stewart: ''If they make another Back To The Future, and I were to be in the movie, I'd want to come back to December 5th and December 6th of 2015. Such a truly historic time for our program these last few days. I want to acknowledge Gary Ransdell and Wood Selig in our program being where it is today. They did a lot of heavy lifting. I believe that great moments are born from great opportunities. We still have one more game to play. We are thrilled to be in the Miami Beach Bowl on December 21.''

Brohm: ''Were definitely all extremely happy today. Yesterday was a very rewarding day for all of us. Our guys put in a lot of hard work throughout the year to get to this point. We have the best bowl tie-ins of anyone in the country. The fact that we get to go down South again is something we wanted. We're going to take advantage of it and have fun with it.''

Stewart: ''The number one goal we wanted this year is to go to a fan-friendly bowl. To be in Florida on December 21 against a great South Florida team is great for us. There's only one college football game that whole day. Our game leads up to Monday Night Football.''

Stewart: ''It's probably fitting. If there was book written, there'd be a chapter on Willie Taggart. He played a big, big role in getting this program to where it is today.''

Brohm: ''We're probably going to get back to work on Friday (as players have finals).

Brohm: ''We're excited about the matchup. Willie Taggart is a great guy. They're a talented team. They're very, very good. They're extremely hot right now.''
