Southern Miss locked down the C-USA West Division title on Saturday after they traveled to Ruston, Louisiana and drubbed the La Tech Bulldogs by a final score of 58-24.
With the win, the Golden Eagles improved to 9-3 overall on the season and a 7-1 conference record and will make travel plans to Bowling Green, Kentucky for a Conference-USA Conference Championship Game showdown with Western Kentucky.
The Hilltoppers claimed the East Division on Friday with a 49-28 win over Marshall at Houchens-Smith Stadium. Western Kentucky comes in with a 10-2 overall record and a perfect 8-0 mark in conference play.
The two programs last met during the 2012 season, where the Hilltoppers scored a 42-17 win.
Western Kentucky will host the Conference-USA title game on Saturday, December 5th with kickoff set for 11 a.m.
