There was and still is a lot of buzz surrounding Western Kentucky and Zion Harmon, especially when Rivals.com basketball analysts Eric Bossi and Corey Evans put in FutureCast picks for the Hilltoppers in December.
I reached out to Bossi today regarding his FutureCast pick with Harmon and this is what he told me;
"Things could have totally changed by now and visits are starting for Zion. But, back in December there were a lot of people in college hoops/recruiting circles saying that Zion was close to being a done deal for WKU. Don't know if that's still the case."
The momentum clearly hasn't swung to another team yet, but Harmon is coming off an official visit to Seton Hall over the weekend and will take an official to Kansas on Jan. 26th. He took his official to Western Kentucky back in October. Louisville and Maryland are also involved.
He will make his college decision sometime in March. It is also likely Harmon will reclassify to the 2020 class
