Here's an interesting nugget, BeaversEdge.com is reporting that WKU head coach Mike Sanford's name has come up regarding the Oregon State job and their sources are saying that Sanford "is going to make a move" for the job.

Obviously, Sanford has ties to the Pac-12 with two coaching stints at Stanford under Jim Harbaugh and David Shaw. The first being a offensive assistant/quarterbacks coach in 2007-08 and again thru 2011-13 coaching running backs, wide receivers, quarterbacks, and serving as recruiting coordinator.

Another tie to the WKU staff is offensive coordinator Junior Adams, who played at Oregon State from 1999-2000.

I don't know a whole lot about it other than what I've been told about Sanford, but there are other candidates they are looking at currently have jobs as well, so regular seasons have to end before any action can take place.
