Conference USA also released its 2022 football preseason poll on Monday afternoon, predicting a third place finish for Western Kentucky this upcoming season.
The poll was determined by a media panel that covera all 11 C-USA programs. The poll predicted Western Kentucky would finish third behind UAB, who had eight total votes and UTSA, who had 14 votes. The poll is predicting UTSA will win their second consecutive C-USA championship this season.
The Hilltoppers will be entering the season as reigning C-USA East Division champions and an appearance in the 2021 C-USA Championship Game.
