2024 linebacker Cameron Pruitt, an intriguing three-star recruiting target out of Theodore (Ala.), recently added an offer from Western Kentucky to his resume, collecting an opportunity from the Hilltoppers this past week.
The 6-foot-3, 190-pound linebacker prospect out of Theodore, AL. sat down with InsideHilltopperSports.com to go in-depth on his interest in Western Kentucky.
The rising senior said that he's blessed to be offered by Western Kentucky as the Hilltoppers have been involved in his recruitment for a minute.
"I'm truly blessed to receive an offer from them," Pruitt said. "And they have been involved for a minute now."
Pruitt said that he connected with WKU assistant coach and outside linebackers coach Jamar Chaney and said he liked his energy and knowledge of the game of football.
"I talked to Coach Chaney," Pruitt said. "He's a good coach with a lot of energy and he knows a lot about football."
Pruitt said that he's not sure when he will be visiting Western Kentucky as he's taking his recruitment process slow to find his best option. He said that he is interested in visiting Western Kentucky's program.
"I'm taking everything slow right now," Pruitt said. "I'm trying to figure out what's the best fit for me."
