WKU head coach Steve Lutz and company are on the recruiting trail in the state of Kentucky, searching for talented 2024 targets.
Lutz has been involved with an intriguing four-star recruit in Elizabethtown (Ky.) 2024 forward Ayden Evans, a four-star recruit.
The 6-foot-10 power forward sat down with InsideHilltopperSports.com to discuss his latest interaction with Lutz and his overall interest in the Hilltoppers program.
"Yes, I have," Evans said. "I liked talking to Coach Lutz. He came to my open gym and we had a conversation. And I'm sure my parents would love for me to go there if I get an offer because it's so close to home."
Evans has also attended one of the Hilltoppers' team camps last summer and told me that he's eager to visit Western Kentucky soon. Evans said that he is planning to visit soon but does not have an exact date set up just yet.
"No, not yet," Evans said. "I'm going to Ohio, Akron and Murray State in June."
