Western Kentucky redshirt junior guard Chris Harrison-Docks has been suspended indefinitely for not meeting expected team standards.
Harrison-Docks has averaged 10.2 points, 2.4 assists per game so far this season. He was cited for marijuana possession back in March.
WKU head coach Ray Harper talked about Docks' suspension after Tuesday's win over Detroit.
All quotes are adapted from the Bowling Green Daily News' Brad Stephens.
Harper said the decision to suspend Docks was made Sunday. Told him to go home early for Christmas. Said Harrison-Docks will return "when I and our staff feel like he's totally bought into what we're doing."
Harper also said "We're constantly preaching about being selfless and not selfish. He's a great kid. He's just got to figure some things out."
