Everyone has been talking about Doughty and Higbee's NFL potential but for some reason, everyone is forgetting about one of WKU's biggest all around stars George Fant.
He was obviously a 4 year basketball standout for WKU but after he graduated, there were already some NFL scouts interested in him just because of his size and athleticism which led to him becoming a RS senior tight end for WKU's football team last season. Though he saw limited action outside of special teams, him spending a year learning more about football definitely has paid off for him.
He's been working out with Ignition APG in Cincinnati and has been learning from Bengals OL Jake Fisher. He's been working on tight end, offensive line, and defensive line positions.
So do you guys think one of our most beloved Hilltoppers has what it takes to make it to the next level? Here's a great video from CN/2 Sports about Fant:
