Guys, I've been a little busy and haven't had a chance to look much at what WKU has this year on the court. What's anyone's take?
And any thoughts on Stansbury? I talked to him quite a bit when I saw him at Peach Jam over the summer. Great talking with him. I know there's been a lot going on, especially with Mitchell Robinson, but after talking to Stansbury, I definitely believe he's the right guy for WKU to have.

Early impressions are they have a ton of athleticism on the roster have been exciting to watch. Got off to a terrible start against Missouri State, was able to fight and claw back in it in the 2nd half but came up short and did what they needed to do against KWC.

Roster is very thin right now with Moustapha Diagne and Josh Anderson still awaiting NCAA clearance. Only rolling with seven players available at the moment, eight if you count walk-on Tyler Miller.

Stansbury has done a great job of bolstering the talent this year through recruiting and adding grad transfers Darius Thompson and Dwight Coleby. Lamonte Bearden is viable scoring option at the point that can get to the rim and create his own shot.

After getting back into basketball shape, Justin Johnson seems to be his old double-double self.

In-state freshmen Tavieon Hollingsworth and Jake Ohmer have had their moments and impressed early on. The other freshman, Marek Nelson, is on another level of athleticism and has been a solid contributor.

A lot of excitement around here early on, but with such a thin roster, they will have some uphill climbs throughout the season.
