Earlier this month, Western Kentucky extended an offer to Norwin (Pa.) offensive lineman Anthony Giansante and so far, he's very intrigued with the Hilltoppers.
"I do know a lot about the school and football program," Giansante said of WKU. "Football wise, I love the coaching staff and think they have awesome facilities. I like the looks of the dorms where the football players stay and the 24-hour cafeteria."
The 6-foot-4, 290-pound prospect has been communicating with offensive line coach Mike Goff, who's extensive NFL resume resonates quite well with high school prospects, Giansante included.
"I love the fact he played in the NFL for 12 years because my ultimate goal is to play in the NFL and he will have the knowledge and coaching ability to help me reach my goal," he said of Goff. "I also liked how he was very humble and easy to talk to. He is definitely my favorite coach to talk to so far in the recruiting process."
"He said he watched my film multiple times and that I was a heck of a player. Knowing his background, his feedback meant a lot to me."
Giansante has other notable offers from Columbia and Dartmouth. He is also hearing from several MAC, Ivy, FCS, and a few power five programs.
