WKU head coach Steve Lutz and the Hilltoppers' coaching staff have been expressing interest in an intriguing in-state recruiting target out of the Morgantown, KY. area.
Butler County (Ky.) 2025 point guard Ty Price told InsideHilltopperSports.com that Western Kentucky has recently become a player in his recruitment process, contacting his guardian.
Price said that he's definitely interested in Western Kentucky and has confidence in Coach Lutz and his ability to do great things with the Hilltoppers.
As an in-state talent, Price said that a lot of people have compared him to former WKU standout Patrick Sparks.
In addition to garnering the interest of Western Kentucky, Price has also been offered by Texas A&M-Corpus Christi's new head coach Jim Shaw and has also gained interest from Ole Miss, Mississippi State and Liberty. Price said that he does not have any visits scheduled yet.
