The Hilltoppers are favored by 9 over Middle Tennessee. That may not seem like a lot of points but historically the Blue Raiders tend to play their very best against the Tops and have shown that the better team doesn't always win.

In covering the Vanderbilt/Middle Tennessee game this past Saturday - the Blue Raiders don't have much faith in their running game

Sean, in all fairness to Middle Tennessee, Vanderbilt has a pretty stout defense. By the way, do you expect the Middle Tennessee game to be a sell-out or do you think the 11:00 kickoff time will discourage a lot of students from going? Since you were at the Middle Tennessee-Vanderbilt game, you know the rain kept many fans away despite all the efforts to sell the game out (see photo and video below). Given the rivalry between Western and Middle, perhaps special promotions and events are not necessary but considering the early kickoff do you know if WKU is offering any special promotions for this game?
