This morning, WKU named John Pawlowski as their new head coach.

Pawlowski has significant coaching experience holding a 505-318-1 record. Pawlowksi previously served as the Head Coach of both Auburn and the College of Charleston.

Pawlowski spent the last two seasons as a Pitching Coach for San Diego State University.

It was only a matter of time before Myers was sent down the dusty trail. Honestly, I thought the move to CUSA, a tough baseball conference, would save him, but the record the Tops had did not match the talent, and meddling around .500 wont get it done for an athletic program who's looking to become a mid-major all around power house.

I'm excited for what's ahead with Pawlowski

The talent was deep this past season and the Tops struggled to find consistency on a regular basis.

I am also excited to see the impact Pawlowski will have on the WKU program. Pawlowski's known for producing MLB talent and that will help to bring in some talented players to WKU.
