WKU keeps rolling through the Myrtle Beach Invitational as the Tops took down 13th ranked West Virginia, 63-57. WKU finally pulled away for good in the last two minutes of the game after a see-saw battle the entire way. The Tops were led by sophomore Taveion Hollingsworth and freshman, Charles Bassey, who both dropped 13 points. Bassey added in 15 rebounds, to give him his 3rd double-double of the season. Jared Savage and Josh Anderson each contributed 11 points and 12 points respectively.

Bob Huggins’ Mountaineers turned the ball over 22 times to the Tops’ 13. 15 of those came from steals by WKU. Rick Stansbury’s crew now moves to 3-1 and will face the University of Central Florida in the finals of the tournament on Sunday night at 5:30 CST.
