BB Recruiting New JUCO offer

A native of Paris, France, Moundi appeared in 32 games for Panola College (Tex.) last year and averaged 12.8 points and 10.1 rebounds per game while shooting 59.5% from the field. WKU assistant coach Hank Plona extended the offer. Along with the Hilltoppers, Moundi has picked up recent offers from South Carolina State, Radford, Northwestern State, and Southeast Missouri State.

Moundi sat down with InsideHilltopperSports.com to detail his interest in Western Kentucky's program.

His first thoughts on being offered by WKU:

"I'm really honored and very proud," Moundi said. "I spoke with them for a few weeks with my showcases in Houston and Atlanta."

His initial conversation with the coaching staff:

"I spoke with the head coach and Coach Hank in particular," Moundi said. "I really like their vision of things and their experience. They can teach me a lot of things."

His interest in visiting WKU:

"Really impatient," Moundi said. "I know it's a great school and I can't wait to make this visit."
