Although this article is about the University of Michigan, I believe other athletic directors can learn from U of M's mistakes. Given that Todd Stewart is an astute AD, I'm certain that he is familiar with the problems at Michigan and is aware of what needs to be done to prevent alienating fans at WKU.

Luckily for WKU, students still get in for free! I'm trying to figure out what Michigan was thinking by jacking the student's season ticket prices up by $100 dollars!!! For a student, that's a ton of cash. No wonder they didn't have a lot of students show up to games.

They had a nice initial concept of first-come, first-serve as far as seating but then completely lost any student support of that initiative by inflating the price. Sounds like a lot of people could succeed in being the CEO of Domino's Pizza.
