Mays is a student athlete from North Palm Beach City, FL. and has garnered the attention of WKU as well as Wake Forest, Appalachian State, Arkansas State, Boston College, Charlotte, Coastal Carolina, Duke, Eastern Michigan, Florida A&M, Florida Atlantic, Georgia Southern, Grambling State, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa State, Kent State, NC State, Pittsburgh, Tennessee State, USF and West Virginia.
I talked with Mays about his offer from Western Kentucky. Here's what he said:
"I am looking for a great position coach in a football program and I love WKU for their passing game," Mays said. "They love to throw the ball."
